Former All-Pro Quarterback Chris Chandler fired a 5 under par round of 67 scoring a total of 31 points. The veteran QB set both single day and tournament records for points with his final round play. Chandler has never finished better than 4th in this tournament but does have five top 10 finishes. Chandler played 17 seasons in the NFL with the Colts, Buccaneers, Cardinals, Rams, Oilers, Falcons and Bears and started with all seven teams including twice with the Rams in different cities. Second round leader former MLB Pitcher Rick Rhoden could only manage 22 points today even with a sub par round of 71. Playing partner former NHL Goaltender Grant Fuhr finished strong in 3rd with a total of 70 points and 22 for the day. The next four spots go to the Quarterbacks. Superbowl MVP Mark Rypien takes 4th, 2 time event champion Billy Joe Tolliver in 5th, 49ers QB Trent Dilfer in 6th and former Steelers QB Tommy Maddox finishes in 7th. The rest of the top 10 is rounded out with actor Jack Wagner, the NFL's Sterling Sharpe and former NHL All-Star Brett Hull. It was a very excitng tournament and fun filled weekend. Geoff Burke Tahoecelebritygolf.com Mid Morning NHL Hall of Fame Goaltender Grant Fuhr posted 2 early birdies and a par to take the lead away from second round leader Rick Rhoden. Fuhr has been playing solid golf all weekend never falling out of the top 5. Rhoden isn't lighting up the front nine like he did yesterday giving the field a chance to catch up. First round leader and two time Celebrity Champion Billy Joe Tolliver has birdied 3 of his first 4 holes putting a little pressure on the leaders. Also posting 3 birdies in his first 4 holes was NHL Great Brett Hull. Hull managed a 2 under par score of 34 on his front nine to climb into the top 10.
